Why Did We Choose New Zealand?

Is New Zealand really the “adrenaline capital” of the world? The entire country does seem to be in love with athletics in multiple forms: sailing, rugby, soccer, and horseback riding to name just a few. The New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary trained for his Mt. Everest climb in the Southern Alps. Bungy jumping and jet boating both originated in New Zealand and an entire adventure industry has emerged from them. The School Down Under especially takes advantage of:
· The excellent surfing
· River rafting
· Bungy jumping
· Horseback riding
Trekking is a national past time
in NZ and SDU traverses
the Abel Tasman Track and the Heaphy Track in the Kahurangi National Park.
